Seven people have their life hanging in the balance after being involved in a terrible accident at Atafoa in the Ashanti region which occured on Monday around 9:30 pm
The victims are currently at the Country Hospital receiving treatment.
A Hyundai vehicle with registration number AS 9759-13 clashed with an Urvan vehicle with registration number AS 3076 Q.
An eyewitness who spoke to Osei Kwadwo of Abusua FM, one of EIB’s establishment in Kumasi said the KIA vehicle which was speeding failed its breaks and rammed into the other vehicle.
It took the intervention of the personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service to cut the mangled vehicle before the victims could be taken out.
Seven people in the Urvan vehicle including the driver and his mate sustained various degrees of injury and have been hospitalized.
The police are on a manhunt for the driver of the KIA vehicle who vanished after the incidents.
