President Mahama could have done much more better in his fight against graft than he’s claiming to have done, that is the contention of Former President John Rawlings.

President Mahama noted during his State of the Nation Address in Parliament last month that under his watch a lot of corruption-related activities had been exposed.

That for him, demonstrates his administration’s commitment to fighting corruption.

But, in a yet-to-be aired exclusive interview with hostess Nana Aba Anamoah on GH One Television, Mr. Rawlings cast doubts in the President’s claim of fighting against the social canker.

“Well, he says he is fighting corruption effectively, I don’t think so, I think he could have done much much better,” he stated.

Mr. Rawlings, however holds the view that under the late President John Mills corruption levels were “terrible”.

Meanwhile the largest opposition New patriotic Party also contends there is a clear vacuum in the national leadership in the fight against corruption.
