A three-storey building on the verge of collapse in the Ashanti regional capital Kumasi will soon be demolished by the city authorities.
The building which is situated behind the railway station at Subin, a suburb of Kumasi which houses over 12 different stores began falling off Wednesday morning and could come crushing down very soon.
The Ashanti regional coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Kwabena Senkyiere has said he’ll ensure the building is demolished to prevent any disaster.
Traders and other occupants of the building have been evacuated while the building has been cordoned off.
