A driver of a commercial vehicle and his mate died instantly in a gory accident at Ebony junction in Accra on Friday.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Nissan Urvan bus who was heading towards Dzorwulu on the Olusegun Obasanjo road, suddenly veered off his lane onto the opposite lane that leads to Accra Girls Senior High School and in the process rammed into a Mitsubishi Pajero car.
The driver of the Pajero who survived the accident however sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital by onlookers.
The mangled vehicles were towed from the accident scene to easy traffic on the very busy road.
