President Nana Akufo Addo has said he waged a war against principalities and powers of darkness which fought against his victory in the 7th December 2016 Presidential election.
According to him, he was nonetheless assured of victory at the end of the poll because he believed the battle was the Lord’s.
“During the elections, we knew we were fighting against principalities and powers, in all of that however, one thing kept me going, I believed that the battle was the Lord’s.”
The President made the remarks when he joined the Glorious Word Power Ministry congregation at Odorkor, led by Rev. Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah to worship on Sunday March 19.
The President’s visit was a gesture of appreciation to the man of God who massively supported him with his prayers and prophecy during the elections that saw him emerging as winner.
He donated GHC 10,000 to the church as a token of appreciation for the immense support he received from the man of God and his entire congregation.
The President urged members of the congregation and entire Ghanaians not to relent in supporting him through prayers to enable him successfully deliver on his mandate as leader of the country.
Rev. Dr Isaac Owusu Ansah presented a horn which he calls “the horn of the unicorn” together with a Bible to the President.
According to him, he was instructed by God to give the horn which signifies the strength and power of God to the President as he faces the task ahead of him as leaderaku of the country.
“This is the Bible, and this Nana is a horn, when you read the Bible, it is known as the “horn of unicorn”, it represents the strength and power of God which God has instructed that I present to you”, he said as handed the gift over to the President.
